The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glenn Shepherd during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Dana Osborn hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Rufus Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clay Weir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Erik Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pottsgrove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Barrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clay Weir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere.
