Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wesley Carver kicked off to start the match. Jefferson Kaufman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Carver in the 5th minute of play. Jefferson Kaufman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Thorpe went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Wesley Carver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daron Bright's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Jefferson Kaufman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute, Wesley Carver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Escalon got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Mays. Sanatoga FC's Dan Akers got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daron Bright had several of the Sanatoga FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 37 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Jefferson Kaufman as he didn't even see the shot coming. Carlo Thorne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Shipman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Shipman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Thorne having to interfere. Jefferson Kaufman made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Daron Bright sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute, Duke Haney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Kaufman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Carver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match Sol Hinkle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jefferson Kaufman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sanatoga FC's zone, Daron Bright stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Kaufman came out of the goal and Daron Bright tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jefferson Kaufman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daron Bright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Akers in the 63rd minute of play forced Escalon's goalkeeper Carlo Thorne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Sanatoga FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Rhodes. Wesley Carver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jefferson Kaufman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jefferson Kaufman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Carver went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Escalon's Carlo Thorne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Akers in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donald Shipman got free with Carlo Thorne in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Escalon's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Akers came free, but Carlo Thorne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Donald Shipman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
