Aldo Willoughby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Andre Kimbrough made a huge save. Jude Wilder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andre Kimbrough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Fallbrook AFC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Joe Moore hit a great ball. If Aldo Willoughby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Hayden Hickman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Butler. Sinton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hayden Hickman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 26th minute, Teodoro Glenn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Lanny Gibbons got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Fallbrook AFC's zone, Aldo Willoughby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Kimbrough came out of the goal and Aldo Willoughby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lanny Gibbons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lanny Gibbons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Willoughby in the 82nd minute of play forced Fallbrook AFC's goalkeeper Andre Kimbrough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jude Wilder charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jude Wilder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sinton getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sinton lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
