Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Pottsgrove's Winston Dunn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Sinton booed when Pottsgrove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Horner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldo Willoughby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rufus Spicer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Gibbons, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match, Aldo Willoughby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rufus Spicer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gibbons in the 11th minute of play forced Pottsgrove's goalkeeper Rufus Spicer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincent Butler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Winston Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Butler having to interfere. Winston Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erik Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Butler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winston Dunn in the 39th minute of play. Erik Barrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincent Butler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erik Barrera ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Sinton's zone, Erik Barrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Butler came out of the goal and Erik Barrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lanny Gibbons to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Winston Dunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pottsgrove's zone, Aldo Willoughby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Spicer came out of the goal and Aldo Willoughby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Willoughby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Spicer having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Sinton's Lanny Gibbons nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rufus Spicer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Pottsgrove booed when Sinton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises McIntyre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincent Butler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Lackey in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Erik Barrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pottsgrove's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Barrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Butler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th of the match, Winston Dunn tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Vincent Butler got in the way and made a wonderful save. Winston Dunn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sinton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Winston Dunn scored to the left of an out of position Vincent Butler, making the score, 2-1. Many of Pottsgrove's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Pottsgrove may have spent more time on the ball, but Sinton were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
