Stuart Cora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centurions FC. Walker Negron charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walker Negron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rebels FC's Willis Deering shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Lázaro Criston but with some difficulty. The supporters of Rebels FC booed when Centurions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Cates didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, one of Centurions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Centurions FC. The goalkeeper, Lázaro Criston, was totally fooled by Rebels FC's Willis Deering, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Gregg Dawkins came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Rebels FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregg Dawkins couldn't finish the play. Stuart Cora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Sawyer in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Sid Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centurions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sid Lester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stuart Cora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregg Dawkins's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Criston read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Dan Hopkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lázaro Criston having to make a save. If Wendell Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Sawyer in the 34th minute of play forced Rebels FC's goalkeeper Stuart Cora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston got control of the ball when Dan Hopkins tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Centurions FC's zone, Dan Hopkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Criston came out of the goal and Dan Hopkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Centurions FC from getting a goal against them. Lázaro Criston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brett Livingston in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Kurt Sawyer made a precise shot to the right of Stuart Cora. Rebels FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt Sawyer to strike the kick off in the second half. Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Hopkins in the 51st minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Sid Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centurions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sid Lester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rebels FC's Willis Deering got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ty McCullough kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Stuart Cora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Sawyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Kurt Sawyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rebels FC's Stuart Cora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Luke Begay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Centurions FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebels FC the free kick. Stuart Cora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Sawyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Dan Hopkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Criston having to interfere. Sid Lester scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stuart Cora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sid Lesters short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Stuart Cora to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88thth minute of the game Dan Hopkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centurions FC's Lázaro Criston was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 93rd play minutes Dan Hopkins shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Lázaro Criston and just under the crossbar into goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
