Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Terry Hollis made the kick off and thus started the match. Antoine Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miles Shoemaker in the 3rd minute of the match. When Bryon Kenney fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Antonio Matadors's protests and gave Bryon Kenney a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes San Antonio Matadors got a freekick which was hit by Bryon Kenney. Miles Shoemaker charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miles Shoemaker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ft.Lauderdale Boas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Miles Shoemaker hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Terry Hollis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. D.J. Sullivan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. D.J. Sullivan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Hollis in the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ft.Lauderdale Boas defense, Christian Hess kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of D.J. Sullivan. The Ft.Lauderdale Boas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that D.J. Sullivan should have stopped the shot. Ft.Lauderdale Boas's Miles Shoemaker got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antoine Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miles Shoemaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miles Shoemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, San Antonio Matadors's goalkeeper Antoine Andrade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Woody Walter. In the 35th minute, San Antonio Matadors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Woody Walter fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Woody Walter came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Antoine Andrade could save by the left post. D.J. Sullivan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Hollis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ft.Lauderdale Boas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kristofer Ledford was slow to take the kick. During this time San Antonio Matadors's players had a chance to rest. Woody Walter struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Antoine Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ft.Lauderdale Boas. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Woody Walter was the one to do the kick off. Abraham McMillian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Antoine Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in San Antonio Matadors's zone, Woody Walter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antoine Andrade came out of the goal and Woody Walter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. San Antonio Matadors's Antoine Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miles Shoemaker in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute Miles Shoemaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abraham McMillian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antoine Andrade having to interfere. Abraham McMillian struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Antoine Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ft.Lauderdale Boas. Woody Walter might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antoine Andrade. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Woody Walter ran back to his position shaking his head. When Woody Walter came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ft.Lauderdale Boas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Woody Walter couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute Miles Shoemaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woody Walter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoine Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, San Antonio Matadors's goal looked a bit too open when Miles Shoemaker came free, but Antoine Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Abraham McMillian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Antoine Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th match minute, Ft.Lauderdale Boas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mitchell Archer to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ft.Lauderdale Boas had played much better football throughout.
