Ronnie Kerns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Keith in the 29th minute of play. Frankie Marino kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Big FC's Keith Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronnie Kerns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Big FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Keith Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Big FC booed when Dade City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Patrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Kerns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith Castro in the 53rd minute of play. Cesar Smallwood's late challenge caught a Big FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cesar Smallwood helped the player get up and apologised. Cesar Smallwood kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Hank Keith had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronnie Kerns. Dade City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hank Keith was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Dade City's zone, Keith Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronnie Kerns came out of the goal and Keith Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the game, Clinton Briggs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dade City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big FC the free kick. A collision led to Dade City getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Clinton Briggs hit a great ball. Ronnie Kerns made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hank Keith in the 88th minute. Tyrell Marion took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gerardo Muller. Gerardo Muller dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4.
