Daryl Boggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Watts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Noel Watts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronnie Kerns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Reggie Garrett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reggie Garrett got free with Daryl Boggs in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oren Lundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Oren Lundy recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daryl Boggs. Oren Lundy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Noel Watts got a free kick in the 38th minute. Oren Lundy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Daryl Boggs made a huge save. If Noel Watts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rusty Collins hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Jarrod Foote shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daryl Boggs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jarrod Foote took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daryl Boggs. FC Barcelona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oren Lundy scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daryl Boggs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dade City's Ronnie Kerns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Keenan in the 61st minute of play. When Armando Keenan came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Keenan couldn't finish the play. Manuel Burns kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Oren Lundy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daryl Boggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oren Lundy in the 79th minute of the match. The FC Barcelona players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Dade City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
