Spectators: 7518 (Terracing: 5754, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) Big FC's Keith Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Big FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Frankie Marino hit a great ball. 6 minutes into the match, Big FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Medina came free, but Gerardo Muller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Big FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Trimble. In the 10th minute, Frankie Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abe Medina in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Muller saved Big FC from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Hank Keith left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Big FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 18 played minutes Little Elm FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremy Greene. In the 20th minute Hank Keith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Hanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The long shot by Frankie Marino in the 23rd minute really tested Rene Hanson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Keith Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Big FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Little Elm FC the free kick. The supporters of Little Elm FC booed when Big FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keith Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jeremy Greene came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Little Elm FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Greene couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Big FC got a freekick which was hit by Hank Keith. After having played for 32 minutes, Abe Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Elm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Abe Medina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Big FC's Gerardo Muller was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Little Elm FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Abe Medina hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abe Medina was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Little Elm FC booed when Big FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Gilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Muller acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alberto Vermudo. Gerardo Muller came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Little Elm FC's Abe Medina. But to his dismay, Abe Medina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 83 minutes into the game, Little Elm FC's Abe Medina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Muller made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gerardo Muller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abe Medina's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. 90 minutes in the game, Jeremy Greene fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gerardo Muller having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Abe Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Big FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Little Elm FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
