Spectators: 7627 (Terracing: 5761, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Len Sawyer made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Real Angels's Alberto Matlock got control of the ball when Stanford Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Rocky Crews shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Matlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Len Sawyer scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alec Houston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind East Newark FC's goalkeeper Alec Houston, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, East Newark FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Forrest Bingham to maneuver through the defense. Len Sawyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Houston having to interfere. Alberto Matlock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanford Arias in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, East Newark FC's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Rice came free, but Alec Houston reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Rocky Crews tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alberto Matlock saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Real Angels's Alberto Matlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Crews in the 36th minute of play. Alec Houston took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Owen Rice, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Rocky Crews managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Newark FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocky Crews was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rocky Crews had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rocky Crews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alberto Matlock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Stanford Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanford Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rocky Crews fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Matlock having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Owen Rice managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rocky Crews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Stanford Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
