Casey Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Harding in the 3rd minute of play. Joe Betts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Oscar Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Animosity FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Betts came free, but Oscar Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Barr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allen Quinn went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Casey Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelly Yoder in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, Ladonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Willett to maneuver through the defense. Oscar Sanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Betts in the 24th minute of play. If Vince West had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casey Barr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Harding in the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florian Pritchett during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Ladonia got a freekick which was hit by Florian Pritchett. Oscar Sanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Betts in the 34th minute of play. Joe Betts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Sanders having to make a save. Florian Pritchett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Sanders having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jermaine Sexton got free with Oscar Sanders in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Harding to make the kick off. Casey Barr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Harding in the 52nd minute of play. Vince West struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oscar Sanders didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladonia. With a little luck, Ladonia's Casey Barr got control of the ball when Allen Quinn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santo Calhoun kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Phillip Wallace hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Animosity FC's Dennis Tompkins shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casey Barr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Animosity FC reached it. 73 minutes into the match, Ladonia's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Calhoun came free, but Casey Barr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casey Barr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Calhoun in the 74th minute. Florian Pritchett hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Andy Harding shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Barr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Betts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Oscar Sanders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Santo Calhoun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Animosity FC's Andy Harding slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Casey Barr. That made the score 0-3 after 93 minutes of play. In the 97th minute, Joe Betts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ladonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Animosity FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ladonia side.
