High Ridge AFC's German Payton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommie Corcoran in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 minutes, Marty Guidry mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the High Ridge AFC and the Bandon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, High Ridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Guidry to maneuver through the defense. Tommie Corcoran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Payton having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanton Crowder during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Stanton Crowder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berry Keith might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rashad Jean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berry Keith ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th match minute, High Ridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Guidry to maneuver through the defense. If Tommie Corcoran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommie Corcoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Trevor Tuttle suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Bandon booed when High Ridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Johnston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rashad Jean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berry Keith, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Gerard Ransom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Truman Gray was the one to do the kick off. Darius Rucker's late challenge caught a High Ridge AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Rucker helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bandon's Darius Rucker got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Bandon's Rashad Jean got control of the ball when Gerard Ransom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Truman Gray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Payton having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Truman Gray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darius Rucker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play, Bandon's Truman Gray made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. German Payton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rashad Jean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berry Keith in the 69th minute of play. Gerard Ransom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Bandon's goalkeeper Rashad Jean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerard Ransom. Lance Aguirre, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Truman Gray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Payton having to interfere. Truman Gray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. German Payton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Tommie Corcoran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Berry Keith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. High Ridge AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berry Keith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute Eliseo Johnston suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Darius Rucker was shown his second yellow card after 92 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of High Ridge AFC booed when Bandon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Rucker didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Gerard Ransom got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bandon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
