Lucero Antoine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Kane, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Willie Knapp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Willie Knapp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Grady Barnes having to make a save. PEEKSKILL RED DEVIL F.C.'s Grady Barnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny McRae in the 20th minute of play. When Willie Knapp came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Arslanian FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willie Knapp couldn't finish the play. Forrest Cho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lucero Antoine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricky Suggs charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricky Suggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny McRae hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, PEEKSKILL RED DEVIL F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Thurman Turner came free, but Grady Barnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ronny McRae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grady Barnes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of PEEKSKILL RED DEVIL F.C. booed when Arslanian FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odell Cates didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
