Owen Crain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Edgewater SC's zone, Cason Hopkins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Owen Crain came out of the goal and Cason Hopkins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Owen Crain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cason Hopkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lions of Quenns's Jospeh Farr got a free kick in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jospeh Farr during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jospeh Farr hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sid Poe during the 27th minute. Jospeh Farr got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 47th match minute, Lions of Quenns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cason Hopkins to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joe Atwood was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Ivan Cahill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edgewater SC and the Lions of Quenns players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Edgewater SC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Cahill. Cason Hopkins blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Owen Crain having to make a save. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edgewater SC's goalkeeper Owen Crain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgewater SC's Joe Atwood got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clint Person shot from long distance after 81 played minutes, a shot that Joshua Dugan with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. In the 85th minute Joe Atwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joshua Dugan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lamar Weaver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Joshua Dugan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Lions of Quenns's goal looked a bit too open when Joe Atwood came free, but Joshua Dugan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cason Hopkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions of Quenns's supporters rose to their feet, but Cason Hopkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Owen Crain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 93rd minute, Cason Hopkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although Edgewater SC had been in control for most of the match, Lions of Quenns still came away with the win.
