In a very dangerous position, a player in Edgewater SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 6th minute Clarendon AFC were awarded a corner. Shaun Rojas went to the cornerflag to take it. Clarendon AFC's Ezra Hilliard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Owen Crain in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 8 minutes into the game, Patrick Posey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clarendon AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edgewater SC the free kick. The supporters of Edgewater SC booed when Clarendon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Posey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Jamal Barrett collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 19 played minutes Edgewater SC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Cahill. Dean Begay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Owen Crain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dean Begay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heriberto Kimbles short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Owen Crain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 33 played minutes Clarendon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Heriberto Kimble. In the 38th minute of the match, Heriberto Kimble tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Owen Crain saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the game, Clint Person was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Edgewater SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clarendon AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Edgewater SC's Clint Person got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Jason Eubanks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heriberto Kimble to strike the kick off in the second half. Ivan Cahill thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Owen Crain, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 1-0. Ivan Cahill kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Jason Eubanks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Edgewater SC's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Kimble came free, but Owen Crain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Heriberto Kimble who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edgewater SC's Owen Crain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heriberto Kimble in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Owen Crain saved Edgewater SC from getting behind. During the 77th minute of the match Ezra Hilliard completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ezra Hilliard a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Edgewater SC booed when Clarendon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezra Hilliard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Edgewater SC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ivan Cahill hit a great ball. Owen Crain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaun Rojas in the 80th minute of play. Owen Crain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Kimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Dean Begay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Edgewater SC's Owen Crain. Owen Crain was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute of the match Clarendon AFC got a corner. Edgewater SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Shaun Rojas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clarendon AFC's Shaun Rojas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Owen Crain in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Edgewater SC's zone, Heriberto Kimble stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Owen Crain came out of the goal and Heriberto Kimble tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clarendon AFC had played much better football throughout.
