The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Cesar Granger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calvin Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6th minute, Benito Vigil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daren Andrews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Vigil in the 8th minute of the match. When Stanley Wolf came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Blue Sheep fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Wolf couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the game, Blue Sheep's Benito Vigil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daren Andrews made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benito Vigil might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daren Andrews. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Vigil ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, North Wilkesboro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Vigil came free, but Daren Andrews reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Vigil might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daren Andrews. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benito Vigil ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 23rd minute, Cesar Granger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesar Granger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Porter North having to interfere. Benito Vigil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daren Andrews having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, North Wilkesboro FC's Calvin Nicholas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Porter North made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Calvin Nicholas took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Porter North to make any attempt to save it. In the 37thth minute of the game Benito Vigil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Wilkesboro FC's Daren Andrews was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calvin Nicholas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Vigil made a kick off. Stanley Wolf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daren Andrews showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Oswaldo Stanley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daren Andrews came out and tried to block the shot, but Oswaldo Stanley slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Granger in the 70th minute of play forced Blue Sheep's goalkeeper Porter North to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. North Wilkesboro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tyrone Conway in the 72nd minute. North Wilkesboro FC's Tyrone Conway was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Porter North in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 77th minute, Blue Sheep's Benito Vigil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benito Vigil in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daren Andrews prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Blue Sheep's Oswaldo Stanley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Daren Andrews stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Vigil's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. When the match was over Blue Sheep could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than North Wilkesboro FC throughout the match.
