Spectators: 7652 (Terracing: 5741, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simon Singletary started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Simon Singletary managed to get in a good position for a shot. DC Bats's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Singletary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Seals breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DC Bats's Caleb Kimble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrod Vargas in the 17th minute of play. Manuel Seals didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodger Hillman went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Rodger Hillman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Sal Worthington notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of DC Bats's Caleb Kimble. Caleb Kimble was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sal Worthington got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Caleb Kimble was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarrod Vargas in the 32nd minute of play forced DC Bats's goalkeeper Caleb Kimble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Rodger Hillman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DC Bats fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Jagiellonia Cincinnati's zone, Rodger Hillman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Seals came out of the goal and Rodger Hillman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Singletary recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sal Worthington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Kimble having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarrod Vargas made a kick off. Sal Worthington received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caleb Kimble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sal Worthington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarrod Vargas struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Caleb Kimble didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jagiellonia Cincinnati. Jarrod Vargas scored 3-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caleb Kimble, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, DC Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Sal Worthington came free, but Caleb Kimble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodger Hillman during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodger Hillman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 75 minutes, Simon Singletary mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DC Bats and the Jagiellonia Cincinnati players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jagiellonia Cincinnati booed when DC Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Singletary didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jarrod Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jagiellonia Cincinnati's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarrod Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance for a goal. Despite being the better team, DC Bats failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
