Juve 17's Orville Baggett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosario Sylvester in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Flint Wills shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradly Paris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Stephen Nava hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juve 17's Preston Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shannon Bateman struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Orville Baggett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitmore Lake. In the 29th minute Antoine Kearney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradly Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orville Baggett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Rosario Sylvester managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitmore Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosario Sylvester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orville Baggett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosario Sylvester in the 37th minute. Shannon Batemans short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Orville Baggett to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 41st minute, Shannon Bateman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosario Sylvester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Orville Baggett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Orville Baggett throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rosario Sylvester in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The audience was convinced that Preston Thomas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradly Paris was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rosario Sylvester made a kick off. Juve 17's Orville Baggett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shannon Bateman in the 54th minute of play. The Whitmore Lake fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stephen Nava during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 played minutes Whitmore Lake got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Nava. Tory Moon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Shannon Bateman charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosario Sylvester in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orville Baggett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Clayton Davies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juve 17 and the Whitmore Lake players grew even worse after the yellow card. Junior Easley scored 3-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orville Baggett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Rosario Sylvester notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Juve 17's Orville Baggett. Orville Baggett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Whitmore Lake had won after a very even match.
