Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Apopka AFC's Marcellus Byers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Devon Werner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bradly Paris was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Devon Werner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradly Paris having to interfere. Devon Werner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Apopka AFC's Devon Werner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradly Paris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Shannon Bateman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitmore Lake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shannon Bateman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Shannon Bateman could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Francis Booker however easily saved by the left post. After 21 played minutes Rosario Sylvester rounded Apopka AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 23rd match minute, Whitmore Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Nava to maneuver through the defense. Devon Werner charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Devon Werner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shannon Bateman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Junior Easley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Nava's late challenge caught a Apopka AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephen Nava helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Apopka AFC booed when Whitmore Lake was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephen Nava didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Marcellus Byers made a precise shot to the right of Bradly Paris. Whitmore Lake's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Shannon Bateman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francis Booker having to make a save. After 46 played minutes Apopka AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kirby Stone. The Whitmore Lake players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apopka AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosario Sylvester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Shannon Bateman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francis Booker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Shannon Bateman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Whitmore Lake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shannon Bateman couldn't finish the play. Rosario Sylvester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Booker having to interfere. Olin Hager charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olin Hager the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Rosario Sylvester ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francis Booker was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Shannon Bateman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Francis Booker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Apopka AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Sylvester came free, but Francis Booker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francis Booker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Sylvester, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kirby Stone during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kirby Stone kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Shannon Bateman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Francis Booker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
