Spectators: 7733 (Terracing: 5801, Seating: 1778, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dane Trent kicked off to start the match. In the 4th match minute, Palo Alto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Raines to maneuver through the defense. Dane Trent charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dane Trent the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute of the match Troy Erickson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramiro Doud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quentin Strickland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Reuben Erwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reuben Erwin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roderick Cameron, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Felipe Guillory might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reuben Erwin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Guillory ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Quentin Strickland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 23 minutes of play, East Falmouth's Dylan Becker made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Doud was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dane Trent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dane Trent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Erwin having to interfere. Ramiro Doud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Trent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reuben Erwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quentin Strickland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Felipe Guillory ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reuben Erwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quentin Strickland to make the kick off. Felipe Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Erwin having to interfere. If Felipe Guillory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palo Alto's Felipe Guillory got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64thth minute of the game Quentin Strickland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Falmouth's Reuben Erwin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, East Falmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Guillory came free, but Reuben Erwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elliott Jewell kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Felipe Guillory fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reuben Erwin having to interfere. East Falmouth's Dylan Becker got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, one of East Falmouth:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Falmouth. When Felipe Guillory came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Palo Alto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Guillory couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Felipe Guillory managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palo Alto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Guillory was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dylan Becker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roderick Cameron hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Dustin Giles hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. If Felipe Guillory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Palo Alto had played much better football throughout.
