Blake Fry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Stevie Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Hood River AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gerry Morton. 14 minutes into the match, Hood River AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Blount came free, but Mitchell Hobbs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thaddeus Avery hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jude Morton kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Clay Davison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Hood River AFC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Donnie Herring hit a great ball. Clay Davison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stevie Long having to make a save. Clay Davison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Blake Fry came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Hood River AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blake Fry couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Hood River AFC's Clay Davison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stevie Long made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Mitchell Hobbs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thaddeus Avery in the 45th minute. The The Blue Hares players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hood River AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Blake Fry was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, The Blue Hares's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clay Davison fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 73rd minute, Blake Fry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, DeMarcus Cook had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mitchell Hobbs. Hood River AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that DeMarcus Cook was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Stevie Long stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blake Fry's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Hood River AFC got a corner. The Blue Hares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clay Davison ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Gerry Morton managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Hood River AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Ezra Perez hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, The Blue Hares's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clay Davison fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hood River AFC's Mitchell Hobbs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by DeMarcus Cook in the 95th minute of play. Hood River AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
