Deshawn Conn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walter Hernandez went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Seymour FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zachariah Daugherty came free, but Deshawn Conn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Devine's late challenge caught a Seymour FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Devine helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Seymour FC booed when Palm Springs FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphael Devine didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Terence Burton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thaddeus Carpenter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Palm Springs FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seymour FC were winning 1-2.

Yong Franks charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Hernandez in the 67th minute of play forced Seymour FC's goalkeeper Deshawn Conn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariah Daugherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Walter Hernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deshawn Conn having to interfere.
