Pele Pelson FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Tad Morris scored to the left of an out of position Lewis Hester, making the score, 1-0. If Tad Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cason Clements received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lewis Hester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Pittsburgh Pirates's Tad Morris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lewis Hester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 16th minute, Daniel Sandoval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Yost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrone Montoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cason Clements in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lewis Hester, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Dominique Young fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pele Pelson FC's protests and gave Dominique Young a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pele Pelson FC! Jacques Ambrose kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cason Clements in the 41st minute of play forced Pele Pelson FC's goalkeeper Lewis Hester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tad Morris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lewis Hester having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tyrese Reeves made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Tyrese Reeves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tomas Yost was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Sandoval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Hester having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Tyrone Montoya could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Tomas Yost however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Pittsburgh Pirates's Tomas Yost got control of the ball when Tyrone Montoya tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes, Tad Morris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pele Pelson FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tad Morris hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Lewis Hester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tad Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tad Morris in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lewis Hester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Ward Lin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milan Bell might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lewis Hester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milan Bell ran back to his position shaking his head. Lewis Hester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Bell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Tad Morris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pittsburgh Pirates's supporters rose to their feet, but Tad Morris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lewis Hester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cason Clements came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Pittsburgh Pirates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cason Clements couldn't finish the play.
