After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Franklin Padilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wyckoff Torpedoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Padilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaro Jernigan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the game, Rickie Grady recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lazaro Jernigan. Rickie Grady showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Soccer Team FC's goalkeeper Lazaro Jernigan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dominique Coleman. In the 14th minute of the match, Franklin Padilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lazaro Jernigan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lazaro Jernigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rickie Grady in the 17th minute of the match. Lazaro Jernigan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franklin Padilla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Brendon Reeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurtis Zaragoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Lazaro Jernigan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascal Kennedy in the 26th minute. Woody Velasco's late challenge caught a Soccer Team FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Woody Velasco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, one of Wyckoff Torpedoes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wyckoff Torpedoes. The referee gave Soccer Team FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cobi Bernard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wyckoff Torpedoes's Brendon Reeder. 3-1. Franklin Padilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Lazaro Jernigan made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurtis Zaragoza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Soccer Team FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickie Grady came free, but Lazaro Jernigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazaro Jernigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominique Coleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Soccer Team FC defense, Rickie Grady kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lazaro Jernigan. The Soccer Team FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lazaro Jernigan should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lewis Aldrich during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Soccer Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Aldrich. After having played for 64 minutes, Pascal Kennedy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wyckoff Torpedoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Kennedy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Woody Velasco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lazaro Jernigan. Soccer Team FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 71 played minutes Wyckoff Torpedoes got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Padilla. Pascal Kennedy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Jernigan having to interfere. Pascal Kennedy took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lazaro Jernigan. Lazaro Jernigan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurtis Zaragoza got free with Brendon Reeder in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Palmer McRae was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. A collision led to Soccer Team FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Palmer McRae hit a great ball. Soccer Team FC's Lazaro Jernigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Bowers in the 88th minute of play. Lazaro Jernigan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Kennedy in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Woody Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazaro Jernigan skillfully saved the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Dominique Coleman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Lazaro Jernigan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Wyckoff Torpedoes were the better team. Wyckoff Torpedoes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
