Mohammed Wiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edmundo Ponce fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Side Highway's protests and gave Edmundo Ponce a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to West Side Highway getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edmundo Ponce hit a great ball. Henrikki Sorsamäki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weston French in the 26th minute of play. When Mohammed Wiley came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the West Side Highway fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammed Wiley couldn't finish the play. If Weston French had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Mohammed Wiley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Side Highway fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoff Beckman in the 40th minute of play forced West Side Highway's goalkeeper Andrew Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Side Highway's Andrew Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Tracy in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Tupper Lake booed when West Side Highway was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quintin Flint didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jason Bloom got free with Andrew Goode in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andrew Goode was a little too slow when Jonas Tracy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mohammed Wiley was the one to do the kick off. DeMarcus Brantley hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Andrew Goode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Bloom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the West Side Highway defense, Andre Castillo De Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrew Goode. The West Side Highway fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrew Goode should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Tupper Lake's Andre Castillo De Reyes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrew Goode made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Andrew Goode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Castillo De Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Andre Castillo De Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led West Side Highway's Quintin Flint to fire away a dangerous shot which Henrikki Sorsamäki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reginald Gustafson kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. West Side Highway's Andrew Goode played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Castillo De Reyes in the 83rd minute of play. Damian Stout hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. A collision led to Tupper Lake getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Andre Castillo De Reyes hit a great ball. Henrikki Sorsamäki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohammed Wiley, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Weston French had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrikki Sorsamäki. Tupper Lake's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Weston French was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Bloom in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrew Goode prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Jason Bloom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Tupper Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geoff Beckman to maneuver through the defense. Mohammed Wiley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrikki Sorsamäki having to make a save.
