In the 11th minute, Mohammed Wiley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, one of Jerseyville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jerseyville. The supporters of West Side Highway booed when Jerseyville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Camp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrew Goode made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Darius Camp sent off a good shot on target. Derrick Whitmore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Goode having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Andrew Goode successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Derrick Whitmore made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Edmundo Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. West Side Highway's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jerseyville the free kick. A collision led to West Side Highway getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Edmundo Ponce hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, West Side Highway's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Blanco came free, but Andrew Goode reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohammed Wiley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Hector Soto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Jerseyville:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jerseyville. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jerseyville's goalkeeper Hector Soto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emery Libby's late challenge caught a West Side Highway's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emery Libby helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Jerseyville got a freekick which was hit by Darius Camp. Hector Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Wiley in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Jerseyville getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Everett Diaz hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Derrick Whitmore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darius Camp charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Darius Camp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Jerseyville's Darius Camp got a free kick in the 96th minute. With an all-out effort, West Side Highway's Hector Soto threw himself towards the right post 97 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohammed Wiley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. West Side Highway had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
