It was a penalty for Jerseyville! In the 16th minute of the game, Klova FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Hector Soto was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Edgardo Rector capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Rector really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Tracy Cesario's late challenge caught a Klova FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tracy Cesario helped the player get up and apologised. Tracy Cesario kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Norbert Donahue recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hector Soto. Norbert Donahue showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Rector made a kick off. Hector Soto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Agoos, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jerseyville's zone, Edgardo Rector stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Soto came out of the goal and Edgardo Rector tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Derick Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Soto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Derick Hood in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Soto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darius Camp during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Klova FC's Parker Bowles was substituted for Rodney Shafer. Hector Soto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Rector in the 60th minute of the match. Hector Soto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Agoos in the 96th minute of play.
