After a defensive mix-up in Soccer Team FC's zone, Sherman Barnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaro Jernigan came out of the goal and Sherman Barnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sherman Barnes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmer McRae kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Sherman Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lazaro Jernigan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Pine Island AFC's Sherman Barnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazaro Jernigan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cobi Bernard hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pine Island AFC booed when Soccer Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cobi Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sherman Barnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Jernigan having to interfere. Pine Island AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
