In the 13th match minute, Soccer Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Jeffers to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute of the match Dale Santos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazaro Jernigan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Soccer Team FC's Lazaro Jernigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanton Roy in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Highland Acres booed when Soccer Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Hairston didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stanton Roy came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Highland Acres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanton Roy couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Highland Acres booed when Soccer Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Hairston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soccer Team FC's Lazaro Jernigan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnnie Ulrich in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Kraig Espinosa made a precise shot to the right of Lazaro Jernigan. Soccer Team FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lazaro Jernigan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanton Roy, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kurtis Zaragoza made a kick off. Lazaro Jernigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanton Roy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Stanton Roy took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Lazaro Jernigan to make any attempt to save it. In the 70th match minute, Soccer Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Cuevas to maneuver through the defense. Theodore Thompson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lazaro Jernigan was a little too slow when Stanton Roy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 0-3. Stanton Roy took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lazaro Jernigan. Lazaro Jernigan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raymond Weiss during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Soccer Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymond Weiss. When Marcos Hughes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Highland Acres's protests and gave Marcos Hughes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd minute, Marcos Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Soccer Team FC booed when Highland Acres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dwayne Koenig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Highland Acres's Kraig Espinosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lazaro Jernigan. Lazaro Jernigan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. The Soccer Team FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Highland Acres were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
