After a rather tough play, Pink Boys's Hunter Sanders got a free kick in the 8th minute. With 13 minutes on the clock, Franklin Barnard commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 12th minute, one of Pink Boys:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pink Boys. Quentin Flynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Worley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Prince in the 25th minute of play forced Pink Boys's goalkeeper Brice Worley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jesus Prince had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Prince sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Aranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Dexter Berger made a huge save. Wiley Jamison charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiley Jamison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th minute Jesus Prince shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Worley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Prince stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lake Shore AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ali Wolf in the 54th minute. After 72 played minutes Pink Boys got a freekick which was hit by Rodrick Eldridge. After having played for 73 minutes, Quentin Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Shore AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quentin Flynn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78th play minutes Jesus Prince shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Brice Worley and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danial Aranda in the 83rd minute of play forced Lake Shore AFC's goalkeeper Dexter Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Prince in the 91st minute of play forced Pink Boys's goalkeeper Brice Worley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brice Worley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Prince, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Lake Shore AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
