With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cobi Stinson in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Foote saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. In the 6th minute, Gabriel Woods reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Sprague. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Legacy America's Fernando Vick got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to Legacy America getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Fernando Vick hit a great ball. FC Barcelona's Wilton Stoddard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Legacy America. 15 minutes into the match, Legacy America's goalkeeper Walter Sprague had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrell Ackerman. Cobi Stinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Foote having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Mario Hoskins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Legacy America and the FC Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Hoskins kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. FC Barcelona's Alfred Foote played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Pittman in the 23rd minute of play. Alfred Foote stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Pittman's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Alfred Foote made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cobi Stinson in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Wilson Pittman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Legacy America's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Pittman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Woods sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyrell Ackerman's late challenge caught a Legacy America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tyrell Ackerman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Tyrell Ackerman got a free kick in the 45th minute. If Cobi Stinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Pittman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Pittman came free, but Alfred Foote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Pittman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, FC Barcelona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wilson Pittman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfred Foote showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Pittman in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Legacy America's Wilson Pittman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfred Foote. Alfred Foote yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. FC Barcelona's Alfred Foote played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Pittman in the 68th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Damien Jamison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Legacy America players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cobi Stinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanh Charles's late challenge caught a Legacy America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanh Charles helped the player get up and apologised. Thanh Charles hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Cobi Stinson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfred Foote was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cobi Stinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfred Foote. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cobi Stinson ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Pittman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alfred Foote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes in the game, Wilson Pittman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfred Foote having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
