Tyrell Ackerman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Reed Dupree charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reed Dupree the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Reed Dupree hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Mobridge AFC's goalkeeper Casper West had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyrell Ackerman. When Mobridge AFC's Brady King in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tyrell Ackerman got free with Casper West in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmund Bernstein in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfred Foote prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Brady King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 38 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Thanh Charles. If Brady King had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Bernstein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfred Foote tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Brady King got free with Alfred Foote in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mobridge AFC's Collin Clinton pulled a muscle in his leg after 64 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 64 minutes into the game, Damien Jamison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mobridge AFC the free kick. Mobridge AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brady King was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfred Foote breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Woods sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mobridge AFC's Reed Dupree got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Reed Dupree off the ground. In the 77th match minute, Mobridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reed Dupree to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's Wilton Stoddard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brady King couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Edmund Bernstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mobridge AFC's Edmund Bernstein got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brady King scored 0-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfred Foote, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brady King struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alfred Foote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mobridge AFC. Mobridge AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
