Spectators: 7624 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 70) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quincy Walton started the match with the kick off. Brendan Field made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Aldrich in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Pope in the 6th minute of play forced Pantless Thundergeese's goalkeeper Brendan Field to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Quincy Walton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Quincy Walton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 15 played minutes Carrizo Springs got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Crain. Francisco Delaney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darell Arias in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Carrizo Springs getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gabriel Crain hit a great ball. Francisco Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Walton in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Donald Pope managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrizo Springs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Pope was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuel Aldrich scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brendan Field, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pantless Thundergeese's Brendan Field played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Pope in the 44th minute of play. Jarrett Sanford hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donald Pope to make the kick off. Quincy Walton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Delaney having to interfere. Darell Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Delaney having to interfere. Francisco Delaney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quincy Walton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66thth minute of the game Darell Arias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrizo Springs's Francisco Delaney was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Donald Pope came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Carrizo Springs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Pope couldn't finish the play. Harvey Cronin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Jarrett Sanford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 minutes of play, Pantless Thundergeese's Darell Arias made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Delaney was left in no man's land by his defense there! Darell Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donald Pope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darell Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Delaney having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
