Lincoln Root took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Bergstrom. James Bergstrom dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alfred Russo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cobi Wilhelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Adrian Stafford had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Bergstrom. Tesla TEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Stafford was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Tesla TEC's goal looked a bit too open when Lincoln Root came free, but James Bergstrom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Reyna during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tesla TEC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
