But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Bradshaw couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ACP United's Dylan Hunt got a free kick in the 28th minute. Frank Bradshaw was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Millvale's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 37 minutes into the game, Sherman Duff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Miguel Bradley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarrett Buck made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when DeAndre Fleming sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Frank Bradshaw left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millvale fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sherman Duff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Bradshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jarrett Buck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sherman Duff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Bradley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherman Duff in the 69th minute of play forced Millvale's goalkeeper Miguel Bradley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Bennett Branch put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Millvale fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! In the 85th minute, Nathan Deleon made a precise shot to the right of Jarrett Buck. ACP United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Dennis Burkett might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Bradley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dennis Burkett ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Bauman during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norbert Bauman kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. After having played for 99 minutes, Sherman Duff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACP United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherman Duff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ACP United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
