Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joaquin Yang kicked off to start the match. Jessie Ruffin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Denver Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kip Horner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Mason City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Boyles to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, James Sheppard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mason City FC's Kip Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Preston Abraham in the 8th minute of play. Kip Horner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denver Fox's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Mason City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Abraham came free, but Kip Horner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Preston Abraham notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mason City FC's Kip Horner. Kip Horner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kip Horner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denver Fox's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Preston Abraham managed to get in a good position for a shot. tryhard co's supporters rose to their feet, but Preston Abraham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kip Horner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Denver Fox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preston Abraham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kip Horner having to interfere. After having played for 31 minutes, Preston Abraham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. tryhard co's supporters crossed their fingers, but Preston Abraham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kip Horner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denver Fox in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Preston Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Horner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Denver Fox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kip Horner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 39th minute, Denny Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. tryhard co's Denver Fox got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 played minutes tryhard co got a freekick which was hit by Jessie Ruffin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Preston Abraham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kip Horner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Preston Abraham in the 55th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Mason City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Preston Abraham came free, but Kip Horner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kip Horner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesse Fair, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Preston Abraham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Preston Abraham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th match minute, Mason City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Yang to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th match minute, Mason City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Fair to maneuver through the defense. When Preston Abraham came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the tryhard co fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Preston Abraham couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Yang kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 90th minute Preston Abraham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Horner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over tryhard co could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mason City FC throughout the match.
