The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Norway. The referee gave Torpedo a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Anderson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Norway's Wilbur Biggs. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jay Redd got free with Perry Jean in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jay Redd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norway's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Redd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry Jean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torpedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perry Jean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Tucker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jay Redd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Jean having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Dexter Tucker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perry Jean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jay Redd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norway's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Redd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry Jean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perry Jean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jay Redd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Franco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Wilbur Biggs made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Torpedo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Norway.
