Gerald Heller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes of play, Black Stars's Trevor Wills made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Spencer Zamora was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bennett Billings took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling Lawrence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Black Stars getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lee Gregory hit a great ball. Bennett Billings was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sterling Lawrence showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 16 minute of play. After 20 played minutes Manvel Argentina Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Merrill Overton. Spencer Zamora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerald Heller's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Sterling Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Bennett Billings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manvel Argentina Soccer's Spencer Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Wills in the 30th minute of play. Brad Huerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bennett Billings having to interfere. Sterling Lawrence took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bennett Billings. Bennett Billings dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sterling Lawrence was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Manvel Argentina Soccer's zone, Trevor Wills stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spencer Zamora came out of the goal and Trevor Wills tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brad Huerta's late challenge caught a Black Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brad Huerta helped the player get up and apologised. Manvel Argentina Soccer's Spencer Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerald Heller in the 59th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Vernon Jacob left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manvel Argentina Soccer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Sterling Lawrence took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bennett Billings. Bennett Billings dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Sterling Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bennett Billings made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sterling Lawrence in the 81st minute of play. After having played for 83 minutes, Sterling Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manvel Argentina Soccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sterling Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes, Manvel Argentina Soccer's Guillermo Burroughs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bennett Billings came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manvel Argentina Soccer reached it. In the 87th minute Jarod Preston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bennett Billings saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manvel Argentina Soccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
