Jacques Wagner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED Mountain Resort. After a defensive mix-up in RED Mountain Resort's zone, Ben Cabrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Aquino came out of the goal and Ben Cabrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacques Wagner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny McRae, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Marcellus Aaron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Nacional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RED Mountain Resort the free kick. The supporters of RED Mountain Resort booed when Atletico Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcellus Aaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, RED Mountain Resort's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Dyer came free, but Robbie Aquino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Benny McRae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RED Mountain Resort fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Atletico Nacional's Wilford Redd got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Pete MacDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacques Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny McRae in the 28th minute of the match. Robbie Aquino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Dyer in the 30th minute of play. Oliver Dyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, RED Mountain Resort's Benny McRae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacques Wagner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Benny McRae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pete MacDonald made a kick off. Benny McRae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jacques Wagner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, RED Mountain Resort's Benny McRae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacques Wagner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional's goalkeeper Jacques Wagner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benny McRae. After some careless play in the RED Mountain Resort defense, Ben Cabrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbie Aquino. The RED Mountain Resort fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbie Aquino should have stopped the shot. If Pete MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Oliver Dyer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Robbie Aquino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atletico Nacional's Jacques Wagner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pete MacDonald in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Grady Hines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Oliver Dyer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbie Aquino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Robbie Aquino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Dyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. RED Mountain Resort's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Atletico Nacional had won, even though RED Mountain Resort had held more of the ball.
