The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Paul showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Dexter Jernigan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxwell Tyler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxwell Tyler struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Adolfo Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Springfield FC. Dexter Jernigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Paul having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Otsego City's goalkeeper Adolfo Paul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Springfield FC's goalkeeper Wallace Page had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Avila. 57 minutes into the match, Otsego City's goal looked a bit too open when Maxwell Tyler came free, but Adolfo Paul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Evan Doty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tracey McClelland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wallace Page having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Springfield FC's goalkeeper Wallace Page had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Avila. Springfield FC's Wallace Page proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Springfield FC from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxwell Tyler in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Springfield FC's Wallace Page got control of the ball when Gregorio Avila tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Otsego City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Schmitt to maneuver through the defense. Maxwell Tyler kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Tracey McClelland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otsego City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tracey McClelland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wallace Page showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tracey McClelland, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Springfield FC's zone, Tracey McClelland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wallace Page came out of the goal and Tracey McClelland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wallace Page made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tracey McClelland in the 91st minute of play. After 91 played minutes Springfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Castaneda. The Springfield FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Otsego City's performance. The match ended with a win for Otsego City.
