Spectators: 7760 (Terracing: 5821, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvador Gustafson started the match with the kick off. Monte Dorsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cory Dudley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, BrkBcgn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Potter to maneuver through the defense. Monte Dorsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Wellston AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Trent Herman hit a great ball. The supporters of BrkBcgn booed when Wellston AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trent Herman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monte Dorsey struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Cory Dudley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BrkBcgn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Gustafson in the 37th minute of play forced Wellston AFC's goalkeeper Cory Dudley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wellston AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Scotty Sheppard hit a great ball. Salvador Gustafson scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cory Dudley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ross Randolph stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Teddy Crowell sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincenzo Alexander skillfully saved the ball. Monte Dorsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincenzo Alexander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Randolph in the 59th minute of play. Monte Dorsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Dudley having to interfere. Wellston AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Salvador Gustafson 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Salvador Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Dudley having to interfere. When Salvador Gustafson came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the BrkBcgn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Gustafson couldn't finish the play. Salvador Gustafson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Dudley having to interfere. Monte Dorsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cory Dudley having to interfere. Vincenzo Alexander came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Wellston AFC's Ross Randolph. But to his dismay, Ross Randolph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Monte Dorsey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BrkBcgn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Monte Dorsey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cory Dudley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Gustafson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Whitney Kendrick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BrkBcgn's Salvador Gustafson got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BrkBcgn played a much better game than Wellston AFC and deserved their victory. The Wellston AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
