The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Scotty Hargrove's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roosevelt Hendricks was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Rex Dupree helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Satans Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Dupree to maneuver through the defense. Rueben McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roosevelt Hendricks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roosevelt Hendricks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scotty Hargrove, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Roosevelt Hendricks stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rueben McCormick's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Samson AFC's Rueben McCormick in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Samson AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Scotty Hargrove hit a great ball. Rex Dupree sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roosevelt Hendricks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Lyons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Samson AFC booed when Satans Kickers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Messer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rueben McCormick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Roosevelt Hendricks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Samson AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Anson Holloway hit a great ball. Rueben McCormick in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roosevelt Hendricks, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 90 minutes into the match, Satans Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Scotty Hargrove came free, but Roosevelt Hendricks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Rueben McCormick in the 91stth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Roosevelt Hendricks had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 93rd minute Scotty Hargrove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roosevelt Hendricks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samson AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
