When German Bright fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dallas FC's protests and gave German Bright a yellow card for diving instead. German Bright hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hugh Boston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyrell Coles having to interfere. Wilbur Acosta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Tyrell Coles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 96th minute, Wilbur Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gadsden's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
