Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Winfred Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Royce Mayberry read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, IFK Osteraker's goal looked a bit too open when Terence Stapleton came free, but Royce Mayberry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terence Stapleton in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Royce Mayberry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bronson Bannister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Terence Stapleton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Royce Mayberry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Royce Mayberry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence Stapleton, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Raphael Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronson Bannister in the 32nd minute of the match. Terence Stapleton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Bronson Bannister made the kick off in the second half. Raphael Wilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bronson Bannister, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. IFK Osteraker's Bronson Bannister got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Lamar Tomlinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Port Carbon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Osteraker the free kick. In the 60th minute, Lamar Tomlinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Osteraker's zone, Winfred Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Royce Mayberry came out of the goal and Winfred Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, IFK Osteraker's Renato Willis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Wilson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Winfred Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, IFK Osteraker's Royce Mayberry got control of the ball when Winfred Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Winfred Berger struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Royce Mayberry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Port Carbon FC. 85 minutes into the game, Renato Willis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Osteraker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Port Carbon FC the free kick. The supporters of Port Carbon FC booed when IFK Osteraker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bronson Bannister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Wilson having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Port Carbon FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
