An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Robles in the 18th minute of play forced Port Carbon FC's goalkeeper Raphael Wilson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes, Apathy FC's Chuck McCord shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raphael Wilson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apathy FC reached it. When Winfred Berger got free in front of the goal in the 27th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Cezary Koczara was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cezary Koczara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After having played for 34 minutes, Terence Stapleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Port Carbon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terence Stapleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Port Carbon FC's zone, Winfred Akers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Wilson came out of the goal and Winfred Akers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raphael Wilson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winfred Akers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apathy FC's Cezary Koczara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence Stapleton in the 62nd minute of play. Raphael Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Robles in the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Robin Robles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Wilson was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. If Robin Robles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
