Kirby Park was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luciano Peralta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. A collision led to Alfonsina Storni getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mason Meier hit a great ball. After 22 played minutes, Alfonsina Storni's Roberto Wetzel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kirby Park came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alfonsina Storni reached it. A collision led to Alfonsina Storni getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mason Meier hit a great ball. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leo & Chivo! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Alfonsina Storni. Willie Roman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kirby Park. 2-0. Jose Riker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kirby Park. Leo & Chivo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Alfonsina Storni getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dominique Alvarez hit a great ball. Abraham Walsh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Eaton in the 37th minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, Leo & Chivo's Alan Eaton made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abraham Walsh was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rusty Connor made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Alfonsina Storni's Luciano Peralta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kirby Park narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alan Eaton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abraham Walsh firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67th minute, Luciano Peralta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Alan Eaton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leo & Chivo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Eaton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abraham Walsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rusty Connor, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Leonard Masters blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirby Park having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Wiley Schaefer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo & Chivo's Kirby Park played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Masters in the 84th minute of play. Alan Eaton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Walsh having to interfere. Rusty Connor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abraham Walsh having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leo & Chivo's Rusty Connor got a free kick in the 95th minute. When Dominique Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Alfonsina Storni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominique Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Alfonsina Storni's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
