Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rusty Connor got the match started through his kick off. If Hugh Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dudley Emery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Park having to interfere. When Nigel Crandall fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gadsden's protests and gave Nigel Crandall a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Gadsden got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Crandall. Leo & Chivo's Kirby Park proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Leo & Chivo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Dudley Emery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gadsden's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudley Emery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirby Park breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Wilbur Acosta notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Leo & Chivo's Kirby Park. Kirby Park was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 27 played minutes Leo & Chivo got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Marquez. Sonny Marquez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Scottie Wooten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leo & Chivo. Kirby Park showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nigel Crandall, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Scottie Wooten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rusty Connor in the 33rd minute of play. Kirby Park made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dudley Emery in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Leo & Chivo's Sonny Marquez got a free kick in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Wilbur Acosta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kirby Park was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 88thth minute of the game Wilbur Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leo & Chivo's Kirby Park was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gadsden's Wilbur Acosta in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
