Spectators: 7424 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 150) Chuck McCord's late challenge caught a Gadsden's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chuck McCord helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Apathy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chuck McCord to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Robin Robles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Apathy FC's zone, Hugh Boston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezary Koczara came out of the goal and Hugh Boston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tyrone Sweeney recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dudley Emery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Gadsden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Crandall to maneuver through the defense. Winfred Akers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Koczara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilbur Acosta's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilbur Acosta in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezary Koczara saved Apathy FC from getting behind. When Ward Rouse fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apathy FC's protests and gave Ward Rouse a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gadsden booed when Apathy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Rouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Apathy FC got a freekick which was hit by Winfred Akers. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilbur Acosta in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Koczara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gadsden booed when Apathy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Rouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cezary Koczara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbur Acosta in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Gadsden's Alfredo Patten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezary Koczara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tyrone Sweeney kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Apathy FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tyrone Sweeney hit a great ball. Cezary Koczara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilbur Acosta in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Wilbur Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apathy FC's Cezary Koczara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Apathy FC's zone, Wilbur Acosta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezary Koczara came out of the goal and Wilbur Acosta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gadsden's Kelly Tatum was substituted for Bret Renteria. In the 73rd minute Wilbur Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Koczara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 76 in the game by Winfred Akers from a close distance when the talented Scottie Wooten managed to make a qualified save. Gadsden's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the match, Apathy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nigel Crandall came free, but Cezary Koczara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes, Winfred Akers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apathy FC and the Gadsden players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Apathy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Winfred Akers to maneuver through the defense. Apathy FC's Cezary Koczara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudley Emery in the 83rd minute of play. The corner led Gadsden's Nigel Crandall to fire away a dangerous shot which Cezary Koczara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cezary Koczara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilbur Acosta's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jarvis Bartley struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cezary Koczara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gadsden. After 91 played minutes Apathy FC got a freekick which was hit by Ward Rouse. In the 92nd minute Wilbur Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezary Koczara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilbur Acosta in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cezary Koczara saved Apathy FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Gadsden players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
