Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wendell McRae kicked off to start the match. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell McRae, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Simon Rainey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wendell McRae in the 11th minute of the match. Simon Rainey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Gage in the 12th minute of play. Steven Thompson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kermit Regan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 played minutes Aransas Pass got a freekick which was hit by Vaughn Curtis. 24 minutes into the match, Aransas Pass's goal looked a bit too open when Kermit Regan came free, but Steven Thompson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 28 in the game by Kirk Miranda from a close distance when the talented Steven Thompson managed to make a qualified save. Aransas Pass's players were relieved. If Kermit Regan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ollie Franklin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Rainey was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The supporters of Aransas Pass booed when Flagstaff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. A.J. Sanderson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flagstaff were furious when Archie Adams was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 33 minutes into the game, one of Flagstaff:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 40 minutes, Pascal Gage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aransas Pass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Gage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steven Thompson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kermit Regan in the 43rd minute of play. Pascal Gage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
In the 53rd minute of the match Dane Moser shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Thompson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Flagstaff's Kermit Regan made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Steven Thompson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Kermit Regan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Steven Thompson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Martin Cermak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flagstaff fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaughn Curtis in the 77th minute of play forced Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Rainey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wendell McRae, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Aransas Pass players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flagstaff.
