Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brendon Crandall took the kick off in the first half of the match. When FC Dallas's Jasper Nelson in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brielle's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Jarvis Ratliff managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Dallas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarvis Ratliff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Corona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 11 minutes, Brendon Crandall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brielle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brendon Crandall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Darin Herron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brielle's Stephen Corona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Hardy in the 16th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Jarvis Ratliff had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephen Corona. Brielle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarvis Ratliff was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Brielle's goal looked a bit too open when Jarvis Ratliff came free, but Stephen Corona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stephen Corona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Nelson in the 38th minute of play. Neil Hardy hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, FC Dallas's Jarvis Ratliff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephen Corona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jasper Nelson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match FC Dallas got a corner. Brielle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wilton Higgins ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Wilton Higgins almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brielle's Stephen Corona did a great save. After a rather tough play, Brielle's Darin Herron got a free kick in the 54th minute. Jarvis Ratliff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Stephen Corona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariah Garrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendon Crandall in the 61st minute of play. When Brielle's Brendon Crandall in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Dallas's goalie prevented a goal. In the 63rd minute, Brendon Crandall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zachariah Garrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 68 minutes, Don Moses mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brielle and the FC Dallas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Stephen Corona, was totally fooled by FC Dallas's Wilton Higgins, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jarvis Ratliff took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephen Corona. Stephen Corona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Brendon Crandall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Corona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarvis Ratliff in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brielle's zone, Neil Hardy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephen Corona came out of the goal and Neil Hardy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Brielle's goalkeeper Stephen Corona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarvis Ratliff. After a rather tough play, Brielle's Pete Starnes got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jarvis Ratliff notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Brielle's Stephen Corona. Stephen Corona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jarvis Ratliff's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stephen Corona firmly grabbed it by the left post. Stephen Corona made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Jarvis Ratliff sent off a good shot on target.
